1Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ASTON ("Service"), operated by ISLA LABS PTY LTD ("Company", "we", "us"), you ("User", "Clinician") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all terms, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the Company regarding your use of the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and are a licensed healthcare or education professional authorized to conduct developmental assessments in your jurisdiction.

2Service Description

ASTON is a digital screening platform that enables clinicians to:

• Create and manage neurodevelopmental screening cases
• Distribute validated questionnaires to multiple informants (parents/carers, teachers, youth)
• Collect and synthesize multi-informant observational data
• Generate structured screening reports for clinical interpretation

3Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

To use ASTON, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You agree to update your information promptly if it changes. Providing false or misleading information may result in immediate account termination.

3.2 Professional Verification

By registering, you represent and warrant that you hold current, valid professional registration in a relevant healthcare or education discipline. We reserve the right to request proof of professional credentials at any time.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use or security breach at [email protected].

4Credits and Payment

4.1 Credit System

• ASTON operates on a credit-based system
• One (1) credit is consumed when a new screening case is created
• Credits are non-transferable between accounts
• Purchased credits do not expire
• New accounts receive 3 complimentary credits upon email verification

4.2 Pricing

Credit packages are priced in Australian Dollars (AUD). Current pricing is displayed at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time, with changes effective for new purchases only.

4.3 Refunds

• Unused credits may be refunded within 30 days of purchase
• Refund requests should be sent to [email protected]
• Partially used credit packages are refundable on a pro-rata basis for unused credits only
• Complimentary (free) credits are not refundable

5User Responsibilities

As a user of ASTON, you agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful, professional purposes
• Obtain appropriate consent from informants before collecting their data
• Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with professional standards
• Not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works of the Service
• Not use automated systems or bots to access the Service
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional codes of conduct

6Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of ASTON—including but not limited to questionnaire items, algorithms, reports, design, graphics, and software—are owned by ISLA LABS PTY LTD and protected by Australian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your professional practice. This license does not permit redistribution, resale, or commercial exploitation of any Service content.

7Disclaimers and Limitations

7.1 No Medical Advice

ASTON is a screening tool and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Screening results should be interpreted by qualified professionals within the context of comprehensive clinical assessment.

7.2 Service Availability

We strive to maintain continuous service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

7.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ISLA LABS PTY LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

8Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Breach of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Conduct harmful to other users or the Service
• Non-payment of fees

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request export of your data within 30 days of termination.

9Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

10Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or prominent notice on the Service at least 30 days before taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
