What is ASTON?

ASTON (Advanced Screening Tool for Observable Neurodivergence) is a clinician-initiated, multi-informant screening instrument designed to identify neurodevelopmental traits in children and young people aged 4-18 years.

Developed in collaboration with leading developmental psychologists, pediatricians, and educational specialists, ASTON synthesizes observational data from multiple perspectives—parents/carers, teachers, and youth self-report (ages 12+)—to provide a comprehensive behavioral profile.

Our structured questionnaire covers 11 validated domains including executive function, sensory processing, social communication, emotional regulation, and attention patterns, utilizing a 78-item assessment framework with established psychometric properties.
